DMCA Policy

Voomcomix ("Platform", "we", "us") is a global storytelling platform built for original creators. We deeply respect intellectual property rights and take copyright infringement seriously.

Every story, manga, comic and novel published on Voomcomix must be 100% original and written by the submitting author. We have systems in place to detect, remove and penalise any violation of this policy.

Copyright infringement occurs when someone uploads, publishes or distributes content that belongs to another person or entity without permission. On Voomcomix, this includes:

• Copying a story, manga, comic or novel from another website and uploading it as your own work.
• Translating someone else's work into another language without their written permission.
• Reproducing chapters or parts of published books, manga series or webtoons.
• Using AI to rewrite or paraphrase another creator's original work and claiming it as original.
• Uploading fan fiction that closely reproduces copyrighted characters or storylines without permission.

Voomcomix follows a 3-Strike Policy for copyright violations — similar to major platforms like YouTube:

If you believe your original work has been uploaded to Voomcomix without your permission, please send a formal takedown notice to:

• Your full name and contact information (email, phone number).
• Description of your original work — title, where it was originally published, and proof of ownership (publication date, original URL, screenshots).
• URL of the infringing content on Voomcomix.in — the exact page link.
• A good faith statement that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• An accuracy statement confirming the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Once we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice, here is how we respond:

• Within 24 hours — We acknowledge receipt of your complaint via email.
• Within 48–72 hours — Infringing content is removed and the uploader is notified.
• Within 7 days — Full investigation is completed and the appropriate strike is applied to the offending account.

If you are a writer and believe your content was wrongly removed due to a mistaken or fraudulent DMCA claim, you may file a Counter-Notice.

• Your full name and contact information.
• Identification of the removed content and its original location on Voomcomix.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• Your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

By submitting any story, chapter, manga, comic or novel to Voomcomix, you confirm and legally agree that:

• The content is 100% original and written entirely by you.
• You have full legal rights to publish this content on Voomcomix.
• The content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark or intellectual property.
• You accept full legal and financial responsibility for any copyright claim arising from your uploaded content.
• Voomcomix reserves the right to remove your content immediately if a valid infringement claim is received, without prior notice to you.

In accordance with the DMCA and the Indian Copyright Act 1957, Voomcomix will permanently terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

A repeat infringer is defined as any user who receives two or more valid copyright strikes on their account. Upon the third strike, the account is permanently banned and all content is removed with no possibility of reinstatement.

Voomcomix operates as an intermediary platform under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the DMCA Safe Harbor provisions. We are not liable for user-uploaded content, provided that:

• We act promptly upon receiving valid takedown notices.
• We maintain and actively enforce our copyright infringement policy.
• We do not directly benefit from or encourage infringing content.
