short story - Little lion and magic feather

In a small jungle lived a small lion named Sheru. Sheru was very brave, but he had a small problem—he could not run fast at all! Whenever the children in the jungle played, Sheru always remained behind and everyone made fun of him, “Sheru see, Sheru see!”

One day, Sheru was roaming in the jungle when he saw a shining feather—this feather belonged to a magical bird that came to the jungle once every 100 years. Sheru picked up the feather, and with a bang! the feather got stuck on his back. Suddenly, Sheru's small wings came out and he started flying a little!

"Wow! I can fly!" Sheru shouted happily. He spread his wings over the jungle and saw everything - the colours of the flowers, the gurgling of the river, and a small well from which light was coming out. Sheru thought, "What is this light?" He went near the well and saw - there was a small rabbit trapped there, who was crying.

"Sheru Bhaiya, save me! I fell here while playing," the rabbit said.

Sheru used his new wings and flew into the well. He put the rabbit on his back and phhoooosh! Both of them jumped out of the well. The rabbit started jumping happily, “You are a real hero, Sheru!”

All the children in the jungle praised Sheru. They apologized to Sheru and said, “You cannot run fast, but you can fly—and that is the best thing!” Sheru smiled and said, “I am special in my own way, and you are all special!”

After that day, Sheru and his friends always played together, and Sheru's magic wings took every child in the jungle on a new adventure.

Moral: Everyone is special in their own way—you just have to find your own beauty!
