The Story of the Lion and the Slave

Long ago, there was a slave. His master was extremely ruthless and harsh in nature. He would punish the slave for small things and make him work in an inhumane manner. Finally, the slave got fed up with this tyranny and decided to run away. He ran towards the jungle, where he was looking for peace and freedom for his life.

Wandering in the jungle, he saw a lion. The lion was moaning in pain. The slave was scared at first, but he saw that a big thorn was stuck in the lion's paw. The lion was unable to even walk due to the pain. The slave's heart melted. He slowly gathered courage and went to the lion. Risking his life, he pulled out the thorn from the lion's paw. The lion was instantly relieved, and he looked at the slave with gratitude. The lion did not harm him and went into the jungle.

After some time, the slave was caught by his ruthless master. The master made a terrible plan to punish him. He ordered the slave to be thrown in front of a hungry lion. The slave felt that his death was certain. He started praying and waited for his fate.

As soon as the hungry lion was taken out of the cage, he roared and moved towards the slave. But a miracle happened! It was the same lion whom the slave had helped in the jungle. The lion recognized the slave and sat beside him instead of harming him. The master and the people present there were surprised to see this scene.

The lion proved with his gratitude that even animals remember favors. The master realized his mistake and freed the slave. The slave thanked God after getting his freedom and went back to the jungle, where he had helped the lion earlier.
