The Magic Pen and the Little Bird – Part 2.
Arjun now wrote stories with the magic pen every day and spread happiness in the village. All the children loved Arjun’s stories. But there were three naughty children in the village – Mohan, Rohit and Bittu.
The three thought:
“If we get this pen, we too can become kings, make lots of gold and have fun in the world.”
🌑 Stealing at Night
One night when Arjun was fast asleep, the three put their hands inside the window and secretly stole the pen. There was a mischievous smile on their faces.
Mohan said: “Now we will make a mountain of gold!”
Rohit said: “I will make an ocean of chocolate!”
Bittu said: “I will make a big bungalow!”
🛠️ Hard work and preparation
The next day the three hid in the forest so that no one could catch them.
They sat for hours thinking about how to ask for gold from the pen.
They practiced writing different words on paper so that they could write the right words.
They picked wild fruits to eat and kept the pen safe even when it got wet in the rain.
Sometimes they even fought over what to ask for first from the pen.
After three days of hard work, they wrote with the pen:
“We want a big mountain of gold.”
⚡ The consequences of theft
As soon as they wrote this, dark clouds started thundering, lightning flashed and a strong storm blew. Suddenly a mountain that looked like gold appeared in front of them, but that mountain was like paper and burst as soon as they touched it. A black dust came out from inside it, which made all three of them cough.
Then the little bird came there and said:
“This magic pen does not work for thieves and selfish people. You have stolen and used the pen to do wrong things, so it is of no use to you.”
The three children got scared and cried and said:
“Forgive us, we have realized our mistake.”
🕊️ True Atonement
The bird said:
“If you really want forgiveness, then help Arjun in the village and become the one who helps the children in his stories.”
The three returned to the village and apologized to Arjun. Arjun said smilingly:
“It is not bad to make mistakes, but it is important to learn from them. Come, now let us all together write such stories with this pen, which will help other children.”
Now Mohan, Rohit and Bittu learned to work hard and help others. They started writing stories with Arjun about distributing books and clothes, planting trees and helping the sick.
Learning:
✨ Stealing and trying to misuse things always leads to bad consequences.
✨ If hard work is done in the wrong direction, then it is of no use.
✨ True happiness and magic lies in helping others and spreading goodness.
