"The Sweet Journey of Ramadan"

Once upon a time, in a small village lived a boy named Ali. Ali was a very good child, but there was one thing that bothered him a bit - fasting during the month of Ramadan. He thought that fasting was very difficult and he wondered how to enjoy this month like his friends.

One day Ali was going to the mosque with his grandfather. Grandfather saw that Ali's face was sad. Grandfather asked him lovingly, "What is the matter son? Why are you so sad?"

Ali said shyly, "Grandfather, I think fasting is very difficult. I see my friends, they all eat food, play, and I just remain hungry. How can I keep this fast?"

Grandfather said smilingly, "Son, Ramadan is not just about eating food. It is the account of a journey that teaches us patience, gratitude and humanity."

Ali thought and asked his grandfather, "Grandfather, how can all these people understand patience, gratitude, and humanity?"

The grandfather replied, "Ali son, when you fast, you see the patience and strength within you. When you feel hungry, you understand how difficult it must be for other people who do not eat food. Ramadan gives us a chance to help and take care of others."

Ali understood what his grandfather said. From the next day, he started fasting, and as the days passed, Ali felt that this journey was very beautiful. He noticed that when he ate food, he felt peace in his heart. He also told his friends, "Fasting is not just about patience for hunger, but also about cleansing your heart."

During the month of Ramadan, Ali took time out from his busy schedule and helped his poor friends and neighbouring aunties and uncles. Sometimes he would give them water, sometimes he would clean their roof. He did all this and he realized that true peace lies in helping others.

One day, a special Iftar party was organized in the mosque, where everyone breaks their fast together. Ali went with his grandfather. There he saw that many poor people were also participating in the Iftar. Ali realized that the true meaning of Ramadan is to help each other, to be patient, and to be thankful to Allah.

And thus, Ali learned that each day of Ramadan should be spent with a new hope and a new prayer. He realized that Ramadan is a month in which we can share our most beautiful emotions, our patience and our humanity with everyone.
