Fear is very important.
Whether it is of your father or of the sins you have committed, fear is fear.
But there are some fears that haunt you only in the dark of the night. We call them imaginary fears.
A girl named Rahil lived in such a fear.
Rahil was such a girl who had witnessed such an incident at a very young age that even a great person would shudder at his feet if he saw it.
That evening of Rahil's childhood:
Rahil was only 6 years old. One evening she disappeared while playing hide and seek with her friends.
The friends thought, “Maybe she has gone home,” and as soon as it got dark, everyone went to their homes.
But on reaching home, they found out that Rahil was not there.
Her family members searched everywhere, but could not find Rahil. A week passed,
But her family members were still searching for her everywhere, they had not given up hope.
Then one day…
One morning, a strange screaming sound was heard from the well near the village.
The sound was frightening, as if someone was begging for life.
When the people around the well heard the sound, they ran towards the well. They too were scared after hearing such a frightening and terrifying sound. Slowly the villagers started gathering.
Everyone was looking into the well out of fear. There was only darkness below and the sound of screaming was coming.
Some villagers decided to go inside the well. When they went inside the well, the sound suddenly stopped.
Everyone outside was praying for those people that nothing should happen to them. After some time the rope in the well started moving.
The villagers started pulling the rope and saw that Rahil was hanging from the rope tied to his waist.
4 people had already come out of the well. One person was still being prepared to come out.
Rahil was breathing but his body was completely dry. There were black marks on his skin and seeing his condition everyone lost their sleep.
Doctors immediately took her to the hospital, but Rahil was unconscious.
Doctors were unable to understand what had happened to her.
She was alive, but it seemed as if her soul had left her.
Doctors tried continuously for 2 days, but her eyes were not opening. Rahil was in a strange state of sleep which seemed to be hanging between life and death.
What could have happened to Rahil?
How would she have gone into the well?
How could she have remained alive without eating or drinking for a week?
