Bedtime Story -The Ugly Duckling

Once upon a time, in a quiet pond surrounded by tall plants and beautiful flowers, a mother duck was anxiously waiting for her eggs to hatch.

Finally, the day came when a tiny, brown duckling emerged from one of the eggs.

Although the mother duck loved all of her babies, she noticed that this little one looked different from all the rest.

"My dear, you may not be as pretty as your siblings, but you are just as special," he said, showering the duckling with lots of love.

But as the days went by, the little duckling noticed that the other ducklings made fun of him because he looked different.

Feeling sad and lonely, he decided to leave the pond and find a place where he could live.

He wandered through fields and forests looking for friends who would accept him as he is.

Along the way, he met other animals who were surprised to see his different appearance.

"You don't look like us," said the rabbits.

"Why are you so brown?" asked the blue birds.

The little duckling was saddened by every question, but he kept moving forward, hoping to find his true home.

As autumn came, he found a beautiful lake sparkling in the sunlight.

There, he saw a group of beautiful swans swimming on the water. Looked up, their feathers glittered like silver.

Mesmerized by their beauty, the little duckling approached them.

To his surprise, the swans welcomed him. "Hello, little friend. You are welcome to join us," said the kindest swan.

"But I am not as beautiful as you. I am just an ugly duckling," he said with a little sadness.

The kindest swan smiled. "Now you may think so, but beauty is not just about looks. It is about being kind, brave and true to yourself. Come, let's be friends."

With new hope and joy, the little duckling joined his new friends.

As time passed, he felt a feeling he had never felt before.
