Lion Kidnapping

The Story of Lion: All the animals lived together in the Sundarbans forest. Their king was a lion named Mangal. All the animals respected Mangal very much.

Mangal did not harm anyone. He would also go to another forest far away for hunting. One night Mangal was sleeping outside his cave.

All the animals in the forest were sleeping. Then Mangal smelled food and started feeling hungry. He saw that a big piece of meat was kept some distance away from his cave and it was fresh.

Mangal quickly went there to pick up that piece and started eating it. But what was this, then an iron cage fell on him from above. Mangal understood that this was a trick of the hunters. Before he could roar, a hunter injected him with an injection of anesthesia from his gun.

Mangal was lying unconscious in the cage. Then the hunters put him in their big truck and left from there. These hunters sold Mangal to a circus in the city. When Mangal regained consciousness, he was in the lions' cage. Where there were other lions as well.

Mangal said - "Brother, since when are you imprisoned here?"

A lion said - "Brother, it has been many years. Now I have to perform tricks on their orders, otherwise we don't get food."

From the next day a ring master came to train Mangal. Mangal refused to obey his orders and roared and chased him away. Angered by this, the circus owner stopped giving him food and water.

Mangal was becoming weak lying hungry in the cage. Now his eyes were starting to close.

Here in the jungle, when they came to know that their king lion Mangal has been kidnapped, all the animals got worried.

Bholu the elephant gathered everyone and said - "We have to rescue our king. We have to find them." Hearing her, all the animals nodded in agreement.

Then the jungle's aunt Meena the fox said - "This is correct but first we should find out where they are and in what condition. Those hunters have hunted them or sold them somewhere.

Then a deer came forward and said - "Yes, aunt, you are right. I think this work can be done by our Chintu monkey because we cannot go to the city, we will also be hunted. The monkey does not have any problem in going to the city."

Hearing this, Chintu monkey said – “You all make preparations to free your Maharaj, I will go to the city and find out where he is.”

Chintu monkey left for the city at the same time. Here all the other animals gathered and started thinking.

Bholu elephant said – “We will attack at night. Our herd of elephants will be in the front. Then foxes and jackals will be behind. People are afraid of us, after this the rest of the animals will be there. Some animals will stay in the jungle and guard everyone’s houses. If other jungle dwellers come to know that we have all gone to the city, then they may take over this place.

Here when Chintu monkey reached the city, it was already night. He was searching for Mangal. He first went to the zoo but he could not find Mangal there.

Then he went to the circus from there. He was slowly going towards the lions’ cage. Then he saw that the other lions were roaming around. But one lion was lying with his face towards the wall.

Chintu monkey was hiding on one side and keeping an eye on them. Then a lion was seen talking to another lion. He said – “How foolish is this lion of Sundarbans, he thinks he will be able to go from here. Look at us, we have not been able to go from here till date. How many days will he starve? Later he will have to show his tricks in front of the whip.”

When Chintu monkey saw that this is our Maharaj Mangal, tears came to his eyes but he could not do anything. He remained hidden there.

After some time all the lions went to sleep, then he quietly went to Mangal and said – “Maharaj, I am Chintu monkey, I have come from Sundarbans.”

Hearing his voice Mangal opened his eyes and saw – “Chintu bhai, they have deceived me and caught me. Please help me.”

Chintu monkey said – “Maharaj, don’t worry, all the animals have thought of a way to free you. I just came to find out where you are. Tomorrow night we will attack here and take you away.”

Chintu monkey returned to the jungle at night. He went to the jungle and told everything. Hearing his words all the animals of the jungle became very angry.

Then Bhola elephant said – “Brothers, this is not the time to get angry. We have to be cautious. We will attack quietly at night. As soon as it is night tomorrow, all gather here and do as I have told you. Chintu monkey will walk ahead of us on the trees so that he can see any danger from a distance.”

The next day at night all the animals gathered and left for the city. After reaching the city, when they reached in front of the circus, as soon as the watchman there blew the whistle to make noise, Chintu monkey snatched it. Then a jackal attacked him and after making him unconscious they moved ahead.

When they reached the lions' cage, all the lions were surprised to see so many animals. Bholu elephant broke the cage gate with his trunk. All the lions came out. One of them said - "Mangal bhai take us along with you, we have no place to go."

Mangal said - "Okay but promise me that you will not harm any member of my jungle."

All the lions promised. The owner of the circus and all the workers woke up due to so much noise in the circus. The ring master also came.

The owner of the circus sat on his knees with folded hands and said - "Forgive us."

Mangal said - "After today if I ever see this circus, I will destroy it. From today onwards no animal will work in this circus. Show whatever tricks you want to show to humans and fire this ring master."

The owner of the circus kept nodding his head in yes. All the animals happily walked back towards the forest with their king.
